Stars of the week: Tehya & Alyssa
It is now the final half term of the school year, and Class 4 have started an exciting new English unit based on The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. The children have explored the front cover and opening pages, making thoughtful predictions about the story and its characters. They have also written detailed descriptive pieces, using figurative language, expanded noun phrases, and ambitious vocabulary to bring their ideas to life.
In Maths, the children have been revisiting and consolidating the key concepts they have learnt throughout the year. Through a range of activities and challenges, they have been strengthening their understanding and building confidence in applying their mathematical skills.
