Stars of the week: Avani & Ibrahim
This week in Class 4, the children have been exploring the features of a balanced argument based on The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. They have discussed and debated whether the Iron Man should be allowed to stay on Earth, considering evidence from both sides of the argument. As part of their writing, the children have focused on using cohesive devices to link ideas effectively and improve the overall structure and flow of their work.
On Tuesday morning, the children took part in a range of athletics challenges. They demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout, encouraging one another, celebrating successes, and showing resilience when faced with difficult tasks.
