Stars of the Week: Charles and Gerard
This week in Class 6, we have been making ancient Egyptian scarabs from air dry clay! The children sculpted the clay by hand and used tools to carve intricate designs into them, such as Egyptian symbols or hieroglyphs. After they have dried, we are going to paint them using a mixture of PVA glue and acrylic paint.
