Stars of the week: Bella and Irene
This week, Year 3 have been writing newspaper reports for the missing siblings Hansel and Gretel as we continue to read Michael Morpurgo’s version of the classic fairytale. Year 3 set out their newspaper articles neatly and used excellent reporting language as they interviewed the children’s stepmother (who is secretly the wicked witch!). They made use of the 5 W’s to record the events of the children’s disappearance and persuade readers to go and search the fairytale forest. Well done for all your hard work year 3!
