STARS OF THE WEEK!

Both children put a great deal of effort into their self portraits this week, thinking carefully about their features, and how they would represent them in their paintings.
Great work both of you!
This week we read ‘From Head to Toe’ by Eric Carle. We thought about our different body parts, and how they help us. We also learnt some new vocabulary for body parts such as ‘shin’, ‘calf’ and ‘wrist’.
This week we have also painted self portraits. We used mirrors to look at our faces and talk about our skin, eye and hair colour. The children then painted their own self portrait for our classroom display!
