STARS OF THE WEEK!
Ada and Oscar!
This week we read ‘Superworm’ by Julia Donaldson, and wrote sentences about it. Both children could talk about what happened in the story, and put lots of effort into their sentence writing. Well done Ada and Oscar!
This week we have been thinking about what makes a perfect sentence. We know our sentences need a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop. We also know our letters have to be correctly formed and the same size – we mustn’t write too big or too small.
The children thought about what happened in ‘Superworm’, and wrote sentences independently; applying their phonic knowledge and knowledge of tricky words, as well as thinking carefully about how a sentence is structured!
