Stars of the week: Vera and Lottie
This week Nursery looked at the Easter story in RE. Children learnt about the events of Good Friday and how Jesus died on the Cross. We discussed how this must’ve made Jesus’ friends and mother feel. Nursery learnt how the Cross is often an important symbol for many Christians and they remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us.
We linked our RE learning with Art this week and children decorated their own crosses with tissue paper. They are hanging on display in our classroom!
