{"id":938,"date":"2026-03-26T16:33:49","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T16:33:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecathedralschool.co.uk\/class4\/?p=938"},"modified":"2026-03-27T08:25:43","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T08:25:43","slug":"spring-2-week-5-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecathedralschool.co.uk\/class4\/2026\/03\/26\/spring-2-week-5-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring 2 &#8211; Week 5 &#8211; Easter Praise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Stars of the week: All of Class 4!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"106\" data-end=\"383\">This week, our Year 4 class had the incredible opportunity to perform their Easter play, <em data-start=\"195\" data-end=\"210\">Easter Praise<\/em>, at the beautiful <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Southwark Cathedral<\/span><\/span>. It was a truly special setting that made the experience even more memorable for both the children and the audience.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"613\">The pupils worked extremely hard in the lead-up to the performance, learning lines, songs, and actions with great enthusiasm. Their confidence and teamwork were clear to see as they brought the story to life with energy and joy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"931\">We were especially delighted to welcome the playwright, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Sheila Wilson<\/span><\/span>, who watched the performance. She expressed how wonderfully the children performed, praising their enthusiasm, clarity, and the spirit they brought to the production.
