Stars of the week: Summer & Lucia-Jane
This week, Class 4 have been busy with their English work. They have been learning how to improve their vocabulary using thesauruses, extend sentences using subordinating clauses, and add short sentences for dramatic impact. The children were also very careful with their speech punctuation, learning how to include reported clauses in different positions within a sentence.
In PSHE, the children learnt about money and the different ways it is earned. This led to discussions about jobs, the types of jobs people can do, and thinking about what they might like to do in the future.
