Stars of the week: Elishua and Lourdes
This week, Year 4 have been learning more about Katherine Johnson- a mathematician who helped the USA win the space race. We learned about her early life and some of the injustices she faced to get the education and recognition she deserved. Year 4 thought about how Katherine might have felt at different points in her life and wrote character descriptions of young Katherine. Year 4 planned independently for this task and produced excellent work. Well done year 4!
