Stars of the week: Annabella & Grace
In class 4, the children have started their new topic of electricity – finding out what appliances are and how different devices are powered. We discussed the differences between battery-operated, mains-operated and rechargeable items.
In DT they have looked at how lighting has changed. From using candles, to gas lights and the lights that we use today. We looked at the famous inventors responsible for those changes such as William Murdoch and Thomas Edison and the impact their inventions have had.
