Stars of the week: Florence & Soraya
Children began creating their collages this week, making a Pablo Picasso inspired piece using a range of materials similar to Pablo’s own. They explored the use of texture and pattern on their collages and the impact that it made.
500 word stories have been the highlight of the week, using their imagination to create unique stories. They have been developing characters, how they act and how their motives move a story onward. In addition, they explored how a plot comes together by building on the foundation (character and setting) and adding a problem and solution.
