Stars of the week: Marley and Lourdes
This week, class 3 have been working on partitioning 3 digit numbers in different ways. They used their knowledge of place value and number bonds to 100 to find different ways to add numbers together in order to make a 3 digit number. It was tricky at first, but year 3 were very resilient and enthusiastic about creating their own 3 digit numbers to partition.
We also continued our topic on Vincent Van Gogh this week and created our own starry sky inspired by ‘Starry night’.
