Stars of the week: Jonah and Avani
This week, Year 3 took a trip to Tuesley Farm learn about how berries are grown (and eat lots of them on the way). They had an amazing time carefully picking the best berries they could find and speaking to Mary, the owner, about how the farm works day to day.
Year 3 were driven around by tractors, had lunch in the woods and before playing in the park they even got ice-cream from the farms own ice-cream truck! Year 3 learned a lot about the journey that fruit takes to get to supermarkets and brought so much back that we even made a delicious berry crumble in class! Well done year 3!
