Goodbye Year 1 – What a Wonderful Year It’s Been! 🎉📚
As we come to the end of Year 1, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible time we’ve had together.
This class has been an absolute joy to teach. From the very first day, our Year 1 children have amazed me with their curiosity, creativity, and kindness. They’ve worked so hard throughout the year – from mastering their phonics and growing as writers, to becoming confident mathematicians and thoughtful friends. Every day has been filled with laughter, discovery, and a real love of learning.
It’s been such a pleasure watching them grow – not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. Their resilience, enthusiasm, and cheerful spirit have made our classroom a truly special place.
I also want to say a huge thank you to all the parents and carers for your continued support this year. Whether it was helping with reading at home, or simply passing on messages at the gate, your support has meant so much and made a real difference.
I feel incredibly proud of everything the children have achieved. They leave with big smiles, bigger brains, and even bigger hearts – ready for the adventures that Year 2 will bring!
